This role at the BMO Newcomer Workforce Integration Lab is ideal for those holding a PhD in a social sciences discipline focused on migration studies. You will collaborate with esteemed faculty to explore the integration pathways of migrants and contribute to valuable applied research. This position promotes interdisciplinary engagement and practical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct qualitative interviews and stakeholder consultations
• Support participant recruitment and coordination efforts
• Draft academic papers and policy briefs
• Analyze data using NVivo for qualitative insights
• Organize research dissemination events and workshops
Requirements:
• PhD in Migration Studies, Public Policy, or related field
• Strong qualitative research skills and competencies
• Knowledge of labour market integration policies
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Experience in community-engaged research
