Position: Research Assistant II at Michael Garron Hospital
Become a pivotal member of the Infectious Diseases research team at Michael Garron Hospital as a Research Assistant II. Engage in transformative research, data management, and patient interaction with flexible work options.

This position supports essential clinical trials and observational studies aimed at improving patient outcomes for bacterial and viral infections. You will work closely with the Clinical Research Lead and investigators to conduct research activities, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports.

Your role will include liaising with various stakeholders while being adaptable to requirements for evening and weekend patient recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily research efforts and data collection activities

• Analyze and report on research findings accurately

• Coordinate with the Clinical Research Lead and collaborators

• Manage patient recruitment via telephone during flexible hours

• Prepare study closure reports and maintain documentation

Requirements:

• Background in clinical research or relevant fields

• Proficient in data analysis and communication

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings

• Strong organizational and reporting skills

• Knowledge of infectious disease research preferred
