Job Overview
Reporting directly to the Department Head, the Analyst I will be responsible for providing technical support and analysis within the Chemistry Testing Laboratory. This is a deadline-based, high-pressure work environment with ongoing projects for a variety of clients. The Analyst I will work independently with minimal supervision and interact with customers and staff in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Sample preparation.
- Mobile phase preparation.
- Documentation: ensuring accurate reporting in lab books.
- Handling of instruments.
- Experience:
2-3 years working with chemistry techniques; experience with NHPs, pharmaceuticals, or consumer products; contract laboratory experience is an asset. - Education:
A
B. Sc. degree preferably in Chemistry; a solid background in Chemistry is mandatory. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Willingness to learn and retain information quickly.
Work under GMP and GLP guidelines; familiar with USP and pharmaceutical testing; basic troubleshooting skills for instruments and methods; capable instrument/equipment operator; experienced in routine and non-routine methods; data retrieval and interpretation; lab report writing; general laboratory duties per SOPs.
Working Conditions- Laboratory environment; significant time standing at a bench, working with chemicals and biologicals, time‑sensitive production role.
- Lifting up to 30 lbs regularly.
- Extra hours, weekends, and evenings required.
