This seasonal contract position lasts approximately eight weeks at $19 per hour, collaborating with the Canada Summer Job Program. Ideal candidates are passionate about history and keen on making a societal impact through research on antisemitism and Holocaust education. You will conduct vital research, focusing on current manifestations and survey other museums to better understand their strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research contemporary antisemitism and its societal impacts
• Survey Holocaust and Jewish museums for insights and responses
• Assist in content development for educational resources
• Compile findings and report on research results
• Collaborate with museum staff on project goals
Requirements:
• Aged between 18 to 30 years on the job's start date
• Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) required
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident status
• Commitment to antisemitism education and museum work
• Enthusiastic and able to work autonomously
Support impactful research at the Toronto Holocaust Museum, fostering understanding of antisemitism and its effects on society.
