As a Research Associate at the Acceleration Consortium, you will support research by applying your expertise in artificial intelligence, materials science, and robotics.
Your role involves data management and characterization workflows, leading automation and robotic process implementation. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team is essential for advancing materials research at U of T.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply machine learning to experimental datasets
• Establish data management practices across workflows
• Operate and improve XPS, XRD, SEM characterization
• Develop automated workflows for materials characterization
• Collaborate closely with scientists on data interpretation
Requirements:
• PhD in Materials Science and Engineering
• Minimum 1 year experience in inorganic materials synthesis
• Proficiency in spectroscopic characterization techniques
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
