We are looking for experienced Computational Biologists to join our collaborative Toronto team. This role focuses on analyzing extensive biological datasets and developing computational models to support drug discovery initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret results and ensure the highest standards in data quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze large datasets, including genomics and transcriptomics
• Develop algorithms to support drug development initiatives
• Collaborate effectively with bioinformaticians and wet lab teams
• Present outcomes to scientific and non-scientific stakeholders
• Design data collection strategies and experiments
Requirements:
• PhD or Master’s in a relevant field
• Proven computational biology experience in industry
• Proficient in programming languages:
Python or R
• Familiarity with data visualization tools
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration
