Position: Economic Research Analyst Role in Hybrid Setting

In this position, reporting to the Chief Economist, you will perform comprehensive economic analyses and support the effective campaigning of Restaurants Canada. Your work will focus on assessing governmental impacts on food policies, providing essential insights for advocacy efforts. Collaboration with key teams will be crucial to disseminate actionable research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct statistical modeling and economic impact assessments

• Collaborate on policy development for advocacy initiatives

• Analyze survey data and present actionable insights

• Prepare reports for government submissions and member communications

• Data management using R and advanced Excel

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related area

• Minimum three years in a research environment

• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with public policy issues is an asset
