The Acceleration Consortium at the University of Toronto is seeking a Research Associate to contribute to the development of self-driving laboratories. You will play a pivotal role by applying machine learning methods, improving characterization workflows, and enhancing robotic automation. This research will positively impact materials discovery for a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply machine learning for autonomous materials discovery
• Manage data curation across synthesis and characterization
• Operate and maintain advanced characterization tools
• Develop robotic workflows for high-throughput tasks
• Work with scientists on material application demonstrations
Requirements:
• PhD in Materials Science and Engineering
• At least 1 year of relevant research experience
• Skills in soft and inorganic materials characterization
• Leadership and project management capabilities
