Position: SickKids Research Ethics Specialist Role

In your role, you will coordinate the Research Ethics Board (REB) processes, ensuring researchers have the necessary guidance for ethical approvals. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the REB application review process and approvals

• Screen submissions for completeness and compliance

• Advise researchers on ethical review processes

• Facilitate the development and revision of REB policies

• Engage in national research ethics conferences and training

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in bioethics or life sciences

• Minimum two years in a clinical research setting

• Familiarity with ethics guidelines and regulations

• Excellent writing and consultative abilities

• Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
