Shape the future of Indigenous mental health as a Staff Scientist at CAMH’s Shkaabe Makwa Centre. This full-time role emphasizes innovative research and community collaboration.
Reporting to the Scientific Director, you will lead collaborative research projects, focusing on the health and wellbeing of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis populations. Your responsibilities include developing research designs, supervising teams, and managing budgets. This role requires knowledge of Indigenous research ethics, ensuring research impacts communities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support important research projects
• Develop, plan, and execute knowledge initiatives
• Provide guidance and education to research teams

Requirements:
• Candidates must be First Nations, Inuit or Métis
• Doctorate in health or social sciences
• Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience
• Strong collaborative and interdisciplinary research skills
• Ability to build effective relationships
