This position at UHN allows you to delve into programmable immune engineering, working on CRISPR and RNA-based research applications. You will lead projects on engineered immune cells, develop assays for assessment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Additionally, your mentoring of junior trainees will enhance the lab's research output.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independent design and execution of research projects
• Establish T cell engineering via genome editing methods
• Conduct functional assays assessing immune cells
• Apply human model systems in relevant clinical scenarios
• Prepare manuscripts and support grant applications
Requirements:
• PhD in immunology or molecular biology
• Strong background in T cell biology and experimental design
• Experience with cell engineering or RNA technologies
• Familiarity with functional immune assays
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
