In this role, you will operate independently but remain engaged with a collaborative team of chemists and biologists. Your goal will be to lead RNA biology research projects, perform sophisticated experiments, and deliver timely analyses. You will also be responsible for mentoring students and aiding in the coordination of scientific writing and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop advanced research methodologies for experiments
• Carry out detailed analyses and provide study conclusions
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate researchers effectively
• Write and coordinate scientific protocols and grants
• Oversee lab operations and maintain an organized inventory
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in relevant Life Sciences or Chemistry
• Minimum of 2 years in RNA molecular biology research
• Background in bioinformatics and data analysis
• Strong supervisory and team building skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Lead innovative projects in a supportive research environment at the University of Toronto.
