UJA Federation of Greater Toronto invites applications for the role of Associate Director, Community Research. This position focuses on leading research that impacts Jewish community well-being within a flexible hybrid work structure.
As Associate Director, you will work under the VP, Research & Community Insights, conducting vital research projects, including surveys and demographic analyses. You will also guide internal teams with methodological advice and data interpretation, shaping the organization's community strategies. Your expertise will support decision-making and enhance community capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and analyze primary community research initiatives
• Maintain high-quality data collection practices
• Identify trends through advanced analytical methodologies
• Create comprehensive reports for diverse audiences
• Support internal teams with research-related advice
Requirements:
• PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field with research experience
• Proficiency in statistical software and census data
• Strong communication abilities for presenting complex insights
• Organizational skills for managing multiple projects
• Familiarity with the Jewish nonprofit sector is beneficial
