Position: Join Research Ethics Team at Holland Bloorview
Lead compliance and ethics in research as a Research Ethics Coordinator at Holland Bloorview. Collaborate closely with the REB to support ethical human research practices.

In this key role reporting to the Office of Human Research Protections, you will facilitate the research ethics review process at Holland Bloorview. You'll work directly with REB members, research teams, and administrative staff to ensure that all human research meets ethical guidelines and regulatory standards. This opportunity allows you to educationally engage with stakeholders while overseeing vital administrative functions within the REB.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication among REB members and research staff

• Review and recommend actions for REB submissions

• Maintain the REB's website accuracy and eREB functionality

• Assist in preparing REB meeting packages

• Supervising and mentoring students and interns

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in bioethics or related discipline

• 2+ years in a clinical research environment

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Knowledgeable in TCPS2 and ethical research guidelines

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management
