This temporary full-time position at the Krembil Research Institute requires a qualified technician engaged in epilepsy studies under a Principal Investigator. At UHN, you will focus on preclinical models and innovative therapeutic approaches, guiding the research towards impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out rodent stereotaxic surgeries and trauma models

• Collect brain samples for analysis and experimentation

• Set up rodent EEG connections and perform data collection

• Administer behavioral testing in rodent subjects

• Ensure compliance with animal use protocols and renewals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Minimum 6 months of applicable lab experience

• Background in brain surgeries and dissections

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
