Position Summary
UVM Food Systems Research Institute is seeking a Crop Manager to oversee crop operations for beef cattle and conduct grain/forage research at a joint UVM and USDA‑ARS station in Toronto. The role requires operating farm equipment, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with scientists.
Responsibilities- Manage crop operations supporting beef cattle feed production.
- Conduct research on grain and forage production.
- Operate farm equipment safely and efficiently.
- Track and record crop performance and inputs.
- Collaborate with scientists and stakeholders to achieve research goals.
- Experience in crop management and livestock feed production.
- Proficiency with farm machinery and record‑keeping systems.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
$26.00 - $29.80 per hour (Toronto)
