The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly qualified scientist for its Campbell Family Mental Health Research Institute. This role requires a Ph.D. with at least 3 years of post-graduate research experience, specifically in suicide risk and self-harm mechanisms in youth. Engage in collaboration and develop a profile at national and international research levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee research projects as Project Lead from start to finish
• Secure and manage external research funding sources
• Publish findings as first or senior author in top journals
• Establish research collaborations within the academic community
• Supervise and mentor trainees at various research levels
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in a relevant health sciences discipline
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate research experience
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Experience in neuroimaging and neurocognitive methods
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
