Red Nucleus is hiring a Scientific Quality Editor to join our team.
This position is remote for candidates located outside the Toronto area. Candidates who reside within a one-hour commuting distance of our Toronto office are required to work from the office 2–3 days per week.

As a Scientific Quality Editor, you will support the scientific team with fact-checking deliverables for correct scientific interpretation of related scientific literature; construct tables and figures; assist with literature searches; and complete other modes of scientific content support.
Responsibilities- Ensure information and data are properly supported by published sources and/or client-provided source materials
- Generate and review data figures and tables
- Review journal proofs to ensure accuracy of publication
- Develop comprehensive search strings and perform literature searches in various scientific literature databases
- Coordinate with scientific teams to complete manuscript and abstract submissions to journals and congresses, respectively
- Complete other tasks as necessary
- Complete assignments accurately and by the designated deadlines
- Work with internal teams in a respectful and productive manner
- MS, PhD, or PharmD in biological science (required)
- 0-2 years experience in fact-checking in an agency setting
- Able to independently comprehend and analyze scientific content and review deliverables
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload across multiple projects under tight timelines.
- Collaborative style that will work well across departments, cultures, and geographies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Graph Pad Prism software
The targeted compensation range for this role is $67,000 to $78,000. Compensation will be determined based on an applicant’s skills, competencies, experience, and internal equity considerations. Employees may progress within this range over time based on performance, tenure, and internal equity considerations.
