Reporting to the Manager, Digital Asset Management, the Digital Asset Management Consultant will manage asset change requests across all Canadian Tire banners, coordinate cross functionally with several teams across the organization to coordinate required digital assets, and ensure consistent and accurate data is added to the asset management system.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute and manage asset change requests, including updates, replacements, corrections, and archival activities, in alignment with DAM governance standards.
  • Review assets for quality, completeness, rights, and compliance prior to publishing or re‑publishing.
  • Support asset lifecycle management, including version control, expiry, and retirement across systems.
  • Apply accurate and consistent metadata tagging to support asset discoverability, automation, and downstream system integrations.
  • Maintain taxonomy, metadata standards, and naming conventions to ensure assets flow correctly to eCommerce and marketing platforms.
  • Identify, document, and elevate data quality or governance issues, recommending improvements where applicable.
  • Create and manage colour and material swatch assets to support Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and digital merchandising experiences.
  • Ensure swatches meet established visual, technical, and brand standards.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on digital assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with DAM standards.
  • Support BAT activities, smoke testing, and validation of asset updates as required.
  • Provide operational support to cross‑functional teams and external partners using the DAM platform.
What You Bring
  • 2+ years experience in a merchandising, ecommerce, or digital asset management role.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder support skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and governance.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of personal and team deliverables.
Desired Skills
  • An understanding of Canadian Tire’s business model and products.
  • Knowledge of asset compliance, rights management, and brand standards.
  • Experience with testing processes (BAT, UAT, or smoke testing).
  • Understanding of metadata tagging, taxonomy, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce and digital marketing content workflows.
  • Experience supporting Product Detail Pages (PDPs) or digital merchandising assets.

Broadband Salary Range: $53,000.00 – $88,000.00

Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role‑specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
