Position: Research Associate I at UHN
Advance your research career with the Division of General and Bariatric Surgery at Toronto Western Hospital. As a Research Associate I, you'll focus on clinical studies, education, and innovation in a supportive, temporary full-time role.

UHN seeks a new Research Associate I to join their team, reporting to Dr. Andras Fecso. The successful candidate will hold a PhD or be a PhD candidate and possess strong research skills in qualitative and quantitative methodologies. You will lead research initiatives, manage study protocols, and recruit study participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage research programs for three Principal Investigators

• Develop and coordinate research protocols

• Submit and manage REB and Grant applications

• Recruit study participants and oversee analysis

• Coach junior trainees in their research projects

Requirements:

• PhD or PhD candidate in a relevant field

• Previous research experience in education and simulation

• Proven ability to supervise junior team members

• Competence in grant writing and REB submissions

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
