Who You Will Work With:

The vacant CX/UX Researcher (Fixed‑Term 12 months) role will report to the Head, Strategy.

The CX/UX Researcher is responsible for understanding customer needs, behaviours, and pain points, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations that improve products, services, and end‑to‑end experiences.

You will work at the intersection of research, design, and product, ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence— not assumptions—and that customer insights meaningfully shape product outcomes.

What You Will Do:

Research Planning & Execution
  • Lead end‑to‑end research initiatives, including usability testing and interviews
  • Develop research plans, methodologies, and artifacts
  • Recruit and engage targeted users
Insight Generation & Storytelling
  • Analyze and synthesize research data into actionable insights
  • Translate findings into recommendations
  • Deliver decision‑ready outputs
Design Enablement
  • Create personas, journey maps, and UX artifacts
  • Embed research into design and product lifecycle
Collaboration & Delivery
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering teams
  • Integrate user feedback into development
CX Advocacy & Practice Growth
  • Champion research practices across the organization
  • Share best practices and provide research leadership in a cross‑functional environment
What You Bring:
  • 3+ years of CX/UX research experience
  • Degree in relevant field (e.g., psychology, UX, anthropology)
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills
  • Experience working cross‑functionally
  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full‑time capacity.

The hiring range for this position is $95,000 - $120,000, and you will also be eligible for our short‑term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job‑related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
