Position: CERT Systems Co-op Laboratory Technician Role
Join CERT Systems Inc as a Laboratory Technician Co-op, where you’ll help innovate fossil fuel alternatives while gaining hands-on lab experience. This role demands proficiency in managing laboratory operations and equipment maintenance.

As a co-op student from a science or chemical technician program, you will work under the Lab Manager’s guidance to support vital lab functions. Your responsibilities will include inventory management, maintenance of lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Ideal candidates will thrive in a startup environment filled with technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Lab Manager in coordinating laboratory tasks

• Conduct routine safety equipment inspections and documentation

• Manage laboratory inventory and supplies meticulously

• Perform maintenance on laboratory tools and equipment

• Prepare and log solutions and experimental reagents accurately

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a co-op program in science or technology

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities and mechanical skills

• Familiar with WHMIS and lab safety protocols

• Organized with exceptional attention to detail

• Previous lab or R&D experience is a plus
