The Senior Research Associate (Level

B) will play a critical role at UNSW's School of Psychology, focusing on impactful research over two years. Design and conduct research projects with minimal supervision while mentoring students. Your contributions will support the Refugee Trauma and Recovery Program through collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop prominent research projects

• Oversee recruitment and retention of study participants

• Coordinate multi-site studies and manage logistics

• Disseminate research findings at conferences

• Mentor research students and guide junior staff

Requirements:

• Proven record of high-quality, impactful research

• Experience in attracting external funding for projects

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Strong understanding of ethical research practices

• Familiarity with refugee mental health and diverse backgrounds
