Associate Director of Transportation Innovation

Shape sustainable transportation research at Centennial College as the Associate Director of Sustainable Transportation Transit Research. Lead applied research and build partnerships to support innovation initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Dean of Centennial Innovates, this senior role requires a PhD in Engineering or Sciences, coupled with extensive applied research experience. You will oversee projects funded through the NSERC Mobilize Grant while fostering collaboration with faculty, students, and external stakeholders, enhancing transportation innovation across the college.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in research methodologies and ethics

• Manage all phases of transportation innovation projects

• Identify and secure new partnership opportunities

• Ensure compliance and control over project performance

• Engage with stakeholders within the College and local community

Requirements:

• PhD in Engineering or Sciences

• 9 years of applied research experience

• Proven expertise in transportation innovation

• Strong proposal writing and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and lead effectively
