Join the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit (OTRU) as a bilingual Research Analyst to enhance tobacco control initiatives. Your work will focus on evaluating and implementing community support strategies.
This full-time, 12-month contract position at OTRU requires a passionate and organized individual. You will engage with community members and professionals to support the Smoke-Free Connect project. This study is designed to foster social connections among individuals in remote areas striving to quit smoking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with community participants during research initiatives
• Assist in the evaluation of Smoking-Free Connect
• Support the planning and implementation of quality improvement activities
• Collaborate with research scientists and staff
• Maintain organization of project timelines and tasks
Requirements:
• Proficiency in English and French
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Motivation and energy to drive research success
• Background in health research or community engagement
• Team-oriented mindset for collaborative work
