The Ontario Tobacco Research Unit (OTRU) seeks a bilingual (English & French) Research Analyst for a full-time 12-month contract focused on tobacco control. Engage with communities to enhance smokers’ support systems.
As a Research Analyst at OTRU, you will support research, evaluation, and implementation activities. This dynamic position involves teamwork with community members and researchers on the Smoke-Free Connect project, aimed at providing resources for those in rural areas wishing to quit smoking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support community connections for Smoke-Free Connect
• Organize and implement quality improvement strategies
• Evaluate research outcomes and impact
• Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers
• Manage research activities and timelines effectively
Requirements:
• Bilingual:
English and French capabilities required
• Exceptional organization and planning skills
• Dedication to public health and research
• Experience in a research or evaluation role
• Strong teamwork abilities and communication skills
