Research Awards Facilitator at TMU

In this critical role at TMU's Office of the Vice-President, Research & Innovation, you will utilize your strategic thinking and writing skills to enhance the recognition of world-class research. Collaborating closely with faculty, you will manage the awards process from discovery to submission, while building relationships with key stakeholders. You will be instrumental in promoting a culture of innovation and academic excellence through effective communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide researchers in identifying award opportunities

• Develop compelling nominations for prestigious awards

• Liaise with faculties and external organizations

• Lead award-related training sessions and communications

• Raise awareness of recognition opportunities across the research community

Requirements:

• Graduate degree (Masters or PhD) required

• Minimum 2 years related experience in research nominations

• Superior writing and project management skills

• Strong interpersonal skills for consensus building

• Knowledge of MS Office and research databases
