Join UHN as a Research Facilities Coordinator and support innovative lab operations at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Coordinate maintenance and compliance for optimal research productivity.
This role focuses on maintaining the functionality and safety of research laboratories. You will facilitate vendor relations, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Bring your project coordination skills to this temporary full-time position to help foster a supportive research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations of the research facility
• Oversee vendor interactions and service requests
• Monitor laboratory environmental conditions
• Maintain documentation concerning equipment and services
• Coordinate safety protocols and waste disposal
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline preferred
• 2-4 years experience in research or lab facilities
• Strong understanding of lab workflows and equipment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with biosafety and chemical regulatory guidelines
