The Opportunity
How do groundbreaking research discoveries receive the recognition they deserve? As the Research Awards and Honours Facilitator, you'll play an important role in celebrating and elevating the exceptional research taking place across Toronto Metropolitan University. Working closely with faculty members, you'll help transform world-class research into award-winning submissions that showcase the impact of TMU's scholars on local, national, and global stages.
You will guide researchers through every stage of the awards and honours process from identifying prestigious recognition opportunities to developing compelling nominations. Your ability to combine strategic thinking, exceptional writing, and relationship-building will help position TMU researchers for greater recognition while strengthening the university's research profile.
As the steward of TMU's Scholarly, Research, and Creative (SRC) awards portfolio, you'll cultivate strong partnerships with faculties while liaising with industry, government, not-for-profit organizations, and awarding bodies to identify new opportunities. You will also develop and lead award-related communications, helping raise awareness of prestigious recognition opportunities towards greater participation across the research community.
