Your role will emphasize research excellence and leadership in community engagement. Collaborate with fellow experts across disciplines to develop impactful educational programs and exhibitions that highlight the importance of biodiversity and conservation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic growth of the Insect & Arachnid collection
• Conduct original research and secure external funding
• Create public programs that foster community engagement
• Collaborate with teams to bridge disciplines
• Provide mentorship for students and interns
Requirements:
• PhD in relevant biological sciences
• Postdoctoral experience or equivalent
• Expertise in arthropod taxonomy and phylogenetics
• Proven experience in science communication
• Strong commitment to equity and diversity
Contribute to advancing knowledge at ROM through collections-based research and public engagement initiatives.
