Position: Laboratory Technician for R&D Support
Join Riverside Natural Foods as a Laboratory Technician, enhancing R&D efforts through meticulous lab management and testing. This hands-on role supports product innovation and quality assurance.

In this role, you'll contribute to Riverside's mission of creating better-for-you snacks by assisting the R&D team with effective lab operations. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and committed to maintaining cleanliness and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include conducting shelf-life studies, preparing product samples, and supporting administrative tasks related to R&D and Innovation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain lab supplies and equipment

• Execute shelf-life protocols and tastings

• Independently package and label benchtop samples

• Create purchase orders and track expenses

• Collaborate on health and safety compliance initiatives

Requirements:

• Over 1 year of experience in relevant fields

• Post-secondary education preferred

• Strong MS Office skills

• Familiarity with food R&D processes a plus

• Willingness to travel to different locations
