The University of Toronto’s Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design is seeking an Assistant Director for the Bioeconomy and Sustainable Materials Institute. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and development, with a passion for sustainable practices. This role requires overseeing operations, developing strategic plans, and amplifying research impact through partnerships and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic plans for unit programs
• Identify and execute research collaboration strategies
• Create project schedules with milestones and timelines
• Recommend new partnerships and collaboration opportunities
• Promote research capabilities to enhance funding
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree or equivalent experience;
PhD preferred
• Six years of experience in a research environment
• Proven grant writing experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Project management experience
