Position: Analytical Chemist at Apotex
Join Apotex as an Analytical Chemist responsible for resolving complex technical challenges in a collaborative, innovative setting. This role focuses on report generation, specification development, and analytical evaluations crucial for drug formulations.

In this position, you will issue, review, and prepare technical reports while collaborating with Analytical Development teams. The role requires a PhD, MS, or BS in chemistry and experience in physical and analytical chemistry techniques. The ability to analyze and synthesize scientific literature will drive success in your contributions to our development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drug master files and write evaluation reports

• Prepare structure elucidation and impurity identification reports

• Develop and justify specifications for drug substances

• Evaluate analytical methods relevant to the control strategy

• Stay updated with regulatory trends and scientific literature

Requirements:

• PhD/MS/BS in organic or analytical chemistry

• Minimum 2-7 years of R&D experience in pharmaceuticals

• Proficiency in chromatography, spectroscopy, and solid state chemistry

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with GMP/GDP, ICH, and FDA regulations
