Take on a pivotal role at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre as a Research Technician II focused on glioblastoma research. This temporary, full-time position requires hands-on work with live animal models.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to join a specialized team at UHN, Canada’s premier research hospital. In collaboration with other research professionals, you’ll develop vital in vivo models by performing surgeries and precise injections. Your involvement will be key to advancing the understanding of glioblastoma and its treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct wet lab experiments and maintain stem cell cultures

• Set up stereotaxic surgery for glioma stem cell injections

• Identify optimal injection locations for research mice

• Analyze tumor establishment through tissue sampling

• Collaborate on projects involving glioblastoma models

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in relevant biological field mandatory

• Minimum 3 years lab experience, 2 years with mice

• Skilled at complex protocol optimization and troubleshooting

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

• Fluency in English and robust communication skills
