The Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics (KCNI) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is harnessing the power of high-performance computing and novel technologies to integrate and analyze the wealth of data generated about the brain and mental health. The Centre operates as an incubator for medical technologies to identify, manage and support mental health, while shaping policy at national and global levels. The Predictive Care Lab, as part of the KCNI, is seeking a fulltime, contract (12 months) Research Analyst to support active research projects.

Working within interdisciplinary research teams, the Research Analyst contributes to research study design, implementation, participant recruitment and consenting, data collection, analysis, and dissemination of results while ensuring compliance with ethical, regulatory, and institutional requirements. The Research Analyst will work closely with the Principal Investigator and an international team spanning Canada, the UK, and beyond. Specific responsibilities will include supporting qualitative data collection and analysis (including interviews, focus groups, and co-design workshops), coordinating engagement with lived experience advisors and community partners, supporting ethics applications and regulatory documentation, and assisting with knowledge translation activities such as presentations, manuscripts, and reports.

The Research Analyst will play a key role in facilitating inclusive and accessible research processes that centre the perspectives of equity-deserving communities, people with lived experience, and international collaborators.

Additional responsibilities include supporting team coordination across time zones and institutional contexts, contributing to co-design workshop facilitation, maintaining research documentation, assisting with literature reviews and grant-related activities, and supporting onboarding of other team members and trainees. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Health Sciences, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant research experience. The successful candidate will be a self-driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative worker with strong interpersonal and written communication skills and show the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal direct supervision. They will also demonstrate strong organizational skills, and initiative.

Experience with research data collection and documentation is a must. A strong background in qualitative research methods, such as semi-structured interviews, thematic analysis, and participatory approaches is required. The ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and across distributed international collaborators is a must. Demonstrated understanding of accessible and inclusive research design is essential. Experience engaging with Indigenous, racialized, or otherwise equity-deserving communities is required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams is required. Experience with NVivo, R, REDCap, Qualtrics, or similar qualitative or data management tools is strongly preferred. Familiarity with REB/ethics submission processes is an asset. Experience…
