Director of Qualitative Research / Senior Moderator – About this role
Working closely with the Analyst, Managers and VP on their team, the Director of Qualitative Research / Senior Moderator provides essential support to their team to help execute and deliver client projects. The Director of Qualitative Research has approx. 7 + years’ experience in a research role and is responsible for developing the research report including strategic insights/research findings to their VP.

The Director of Qualitative Research has demonstrated their research skills and knowledge, and client service capabilities in their previous role(s). They can be relied on for project updates, recommendations on additional analysis required, working with other Dig team members to develop solutions to any project related problems and troubleshoot any issues that arise. In addition, they should possess strategic and consultative skills as a researcher.

Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Executing all aspects of a qualitative research project from start to finish. This includes:

Project design, reviewing and lending a strategic eye to guides, and overseeing logistics such as recruitment and survey/platform programming.

Moderation of one‑on‑one IDIs, focus groups and online qualitative methodologies both in‑person and online.

Performing analysis, writing reports, and presenting results.

Participate in research design and writing draft proposals.

Performing secondary research to support primary research‑based implications.

Overseeing project management and ensuring timely, quality deliverables according to project design.

Managing field suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Contributing to client meetings as an active participant in delivering superior client service.

Act as key contact in support of Vice‑President, Qualitative Research.

Experience, Skills and Requirements:

7 + years of direct and relevant experience.

University Degree and/or Post‑Graduate Certificate in a relevant field (Market Research, Business Insights, Marketing, or other).

Solid English communication skills, both written and oral are required (French skills/ other languages are a plus!).
