Located at the Princess Margaret Cancer Research Tower, the Tessier Lab seeks a motivated individual to help advance organ preservation technologies. Ideal candidates will have practical lab experience, or demonstrate a solid willingness to develop skills in animal handling and care. Your work will be crucial in supporting effective, compliant research practices while upholding animal welfare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with animal procedures and research studies
• Prepare research areas and monitor animal health
• Document all aspects of animal care and procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams
• Ensure compliance with institutional requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a health or science discipline
• Minimum of 6 months hands-on animal experience
• Committed to ethical research and animal welfare
• Capable of rigorous attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
