Event Server, Fine Dining- C Square

Overview

Event Servers play a key role in delivering impeccable, discreet service within an exclusive environment. This role supports the seamless preparation, execution, and close-out of private events, ensuring each experience reflects our standards of refinement, precision, and personalized service. Event Servers are expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of event menus, service protocols, and presentation standards while anticipating client needs with professionalism and poise.

• Assist with the meticulous preparation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of event spaces in accordance with O&B standards
• Execute food and beverage service with precision, discretion, and attention to detail; maintain a comprehensive knowledge of event menus, ingredients, and presentation to confidently answer questions and offer informed recommendations
• Anticipate and respond promptly to member and guest requests in a polished, professional, and unobtrusive manner
• Deliver food and beverages to designated tables as directed by the Management team, ensuring proper timing and presentation
• Clear plates, cutlery, and glassware efficiently while maintaining the visual integrity of the space throughout the event
• Monitor food quality and presentation, immediately addressing any deviations from established standards
• Uphold expectations regarding confidentiality, discretion, and client privacy at all times
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and service standards
• Support additional duties as required to ensure a flawless event experience

• 2-3 years of serving experience in a refined or service-focused setting (preferred)
• Valid Smart Serve Certification (required)
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
• Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask seamlessly
• Clear, confident verbal communication skills; written communication an asset
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a sense of professional urgency while delivering calm, polished service
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
