Our expectationsWorking with your manager, the physical inventory team and various business partners, the physical inventory analyst will be responsible for the physical inventory reconciliation process for RONA Inc. corporate stores.
Your role- Do a complete analysis for each count.
- Work with different business partners to solve the various problems found during the analysis.
- Work with store management and Asset protection and operations teams to confirm quantities.
- Analyze all responses and make corrections.
- Proceed with final posting and send all documentation to operations and finance.
- Communicate any operational issue detected during the analysis to the different teams.
- Pay external vendor invoices on the system and do the necessary follow-ups.
- Create the annual physical inventory schedule, do the necessary follow-ups throughout the year with the external vendor.
- The analyst can work remotely.
- College/university diploma (or equivalent) in finance, administration, or a related field.
- Written and oral communication skills in French and English (required).
- 2–5 years related experience in analysis and inventory management.
- Self‑motivated and result oriented with a focus on delivering high‑quality work.
- Strong ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly growing and rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of IT tools including Excel, MMS, SODA, and business analytic tools (Tableau).
- Organizational skills, thoroughness, self‑direction, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
