Golf Shop Manager - Lora Bay

Key Responsibilities Provide member and guest service in person and by phone including inquiries, booking tee times, and issue resolution within role scope
Execute point of sale procedures including retail sales, green fees, cart fees, receipts, and accurate transaction handling
Maintain organization and cleanliness of retail and service standards to align with events and member demand
Assist with preparation for key events and peak periods including signage, product staging, gift or prize set ups, and operational readiness checklists
Assist with league facilitation and daily play execution including registration, score entry support, rules guidance, and communication to participants
Support tournament and event execution
Assist with training new golf shop attendants through on the job coaching and reinforcement of standards and procedures
Support inventory control processes including stock checks, transfer verification, and reporting of discrepancies
Receive merchandise shipments, verify packing slips, and ensure timely pricing and tagging per retail standards
Merchandising execution including replenishment, display maintenance, size runs, folding standards, signage, and feature table refreshes
Execute month end inventory counts including preparation, cycle counting, reconciliation support, and reporting variances to Head Golf Professional
Review and refresh of retail floor sets, seasonal feature areas, and merchandising
Education and Experience High school Diploma or Equivalent
1-2 years prior experience in golf operations
Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf and golf facility operations
Fundamental supervisory practices and principles
Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
Self-motivated with desire to promote and market
Service and customer focused attitude
Experienced in written and oral business communications
Experienced computer user including Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient in other applications, i.e. email, internet, tournament and database
Physical Environment / Requirements Work in a clean well-lit environment
Work under pressure and a fast-paced environment
Outside as required in a variety of weather conditions
Must be able to lift 50 LBS
Long periods of standing on your feet
Must be willing to work morning shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $1,050 - $1,200 per week (Based on experience)
Expected hours: 40 per week
