Senior Billing Specialist - US Entities (6-month term)
This is a hybrid position in Toronto or Montreal. This is a 6-month contract.
Contract
Hybrid model - up to 4x/weekAs Senior Billing Specialist for our US entities, your key responsibilities will be:
Lead monthly closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reportingInvestigate and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies promptlyPrepare and analyze financial statements and management reportsSupport process improvements and ensure accuracy of financial data across systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate information flowManage and problem-solve transactional accounting activities as needed (AP, AR, bank recs, etc.)Work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlinesQualifications
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles and month-end close processesProficiency with Sage Intacct is a mustAdvanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis) are required for this positionThe candidate needs excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams across departments; must be detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organizedThey should be known for their ability to problem solve and work under pressure with minimal supervision, and have to be self-motivated, proactive, and hands-onAdditional information
