ROLE OVERVIEW
The Account Executive / Sales & Events Coordinator will drive brand performance across Sephora stores in the Toronto market. This is a field-based, sales-driven role focused on in-store execution, events, education, and strong partnership with store teams.
This is a highly hands‑on, in-store role for someone who thrives on the Sephora floor—driving results through selling, educating store teams, executing events, and building strong partnerships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In-Store Execution & Sales
Spend the majority of time in Sephora stores driving sales performance
Actively sell and support clients with strong product knowledge and artistry
Lead by example in achieving daily and weekly sales goals (sales, rank, productivity)
Drive UPT through add-ons and client engagement
Events & Activations
Execute in-store events (FSCs, takeovers, EIBs) with a focus on sales results
Support event planning and identify high-impact opportunities within the market
Ensure strong ROI on all activations through performance tracking
Partner with Regional Manager on event strategy and door prioritization
Build and maintain strong relationships with Sephora store leadership and Beauty Advisors
Act as a brand ambassador within Sephora stores
Influence BAs to drive brand sales when not present in store
Deliver in-store coaching focused on selling behaviors and conversion
Educate through selling—demonstrating how to drive results in real time
Reinforce product knowledge and brand storytelling to support sales growth
Develop strong BA advocates within key doors
Territory Ownership (AE-Level Focus)
Own performance across assigned doors, including sales, rank, and productivity
Identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to drive results
Partner with Regional Manager on business planning and performance reviews
Analyze store performance and adjust approach based on business needs
Operations & Communication
Provide feedback on store performance, stock levels, and opportunities
Proactively communicate risks and opportunities to leadership
Maintain consistent and clear communication with Regional Manager
KEY COMPETENCIES
Previous experience working in a Sephora environment (brand, freelance, or store level)
Strong sales ability with a proven track record of driving in-store results
Experience executing retail events is strongly preferred
Ability to build relationships and influence store teams
Strong communication and organizational skills
Passion for beauty, artistry, and client experience
Self‑motivated with a strong sense of ownership
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Reliable transportation required
Open availability, including evenings and weekends (Friday–Sunday priority)
Ability to work retail hours, including shifts up to 9 PM
Ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Area
Bilingual (English/French) is a plus but not required
Prior experience working within the Sephora environment
Proven ability to drive sales in-store; this is a selling‑first role
Comfortable working on the sales floor the majority of the time
Availability for evenings and weekends
Open to coaching, feedback, and accountability
Strong work ethic with a hands‑on, team‑first mindset
