The Category Manager role is a permanent full-time opportunity within the Merchandising department. You will oversee product profitability, develop promotional strategies, and ensure competitive market positioning. The position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop sales and promotional strategies for assigned categories
• Define product assortment and negotiate purchase terms
• Create and maintain a promotional calendar for sales maximization
• Conduct regular category reviews using market data
• Monitor market conditions impacting category performance
Requirements:
• 5-7 years in merchandising/category management, especially in grocery
• University degree in a business-related field
• Proficiency with SAP Merchandising Module & BW
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
• Excellent communication and forecasting abilities
