Canlan Sports, North America's largest recreational sports complex operator, seeks a Sports Shop Supervisor. This role combines team supervision with responsibility for merchandising and sales targets. Your expertise in hockey, skate sharpening, and exceptional service drives the shop’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of the Sports Shop
• Schedule and direct team members effectively
• Maintain high customer service standards
• Oversee merchandising activities and promotions
• Assist in preparing the annual operating plan
Requirements:
• Retail operations diploma or certificate preferred
• High school education or equivalent
• Prior retail merchandising and sales experience
• Strong knowledge of hockey and skate sharpening skills
• Previous team supervision within a sports environment preferred
