In this full-time position, you'll play a crucial role in sourcing fashion merchandise and executing buying strategies. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years in merchandising. Responsibilities include maintaining vendor communication, processing orders, and analyzing market trends to keep the assortment aligned with consumer demand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships
• Process purchase orders accurately and promptly
• Assist in planning product assortments effectively
• Analyze open purchase orders and financial reports
• Create organized documentation for vendor interactions
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Fashion or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Fashion Merchandising
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AS400 and Illustrator is an asset
• Knowledge of the retail industry is a strong advantage
• Experience with supplier negotiation is beneficial
