Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality meat products for retail and food service customers, ensuring all items meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, butchery, and food handling, with a strong commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction. • Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and safety standards
• Ensure proper packaging of meat products for retail display or shipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
• Handle food products safely, adhering to all food handling guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when necessary
• Follow all safety procedures during meat processing to prevent accidents or contamination
• Support team members in maintaining efficient workflow during busy periods

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in butchery or meat cutting, is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential
• Familiarity with packaging processes and handling various types of meat products is a plus
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meat cutting are required
• Prior experience working in a kitchen or similar environment with food handling responsibilities is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
