• Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready – keep the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
• Check Product Quality and Freshness – rotate products regularly and remove expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing – make sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards – follow food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell‑by and expiration dates.
• Stock Merchandise and Set Displays – stock and down‑stock merchandise as needed, apply product protection when required, and set modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
• Follow Health and Safety Guidelines – follow all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) – be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.
