Customer-Focused Store Associate

Deliver exceptional service at The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Toronto. As a Store Associate, you will engage with customers and donors while managing retail operations every day.

This part-time position involves engaging directly with customers, maintaining store standards, and ensuring efficient operations. You will handle cash transactions accurately, process donations, and assist in merchandising to meet sales targets.

Your role will be vital in providing excellent customer service while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers and donors courteously

• Process transactions with accuracy and minimal errors

• Sort, price, and display incoming donations attractively

• Monitor store security and maintain a tidy environment

• Support inventory control and stock replenishment

Requirements:

• Some high school education required

• Cash handling and register experience necessary

• Strong attention to detail and self-motivated

• Physically capable of lifting up to 30 pounds
