METRO is seeking a Merchandising Analyst to provide analytical support and ensure data integrity in Ontario's Fresh division. This full-time role focuses on effective merchandise management.
As a Merchandising Analyst, you will focus on maintaining reports, promotional planning, and system accuracy in your analytical role. You will engage with both internal and external contacts to enhance performance and support the merchandising team through actionable insights and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain regular merchandising reports and dashboards
• Manage costing systems and promotional features accurately
• Support promotional planning with creation and maintenance
• Handle requests for new item creation or modifications
• Assist the Merchandising team in analyzing category performance
Requirements:
• Post Secondary diploma or degree in Business or related field
• Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills required
• Familiarity with Produce products is a plus
• Experience in perishables retail merchandising advantageous
• Detail-oriented with strong communication abilities
