The Role
We are seeking a results-driven IT Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our technical expertise and dental practices looking to modernize or secure their infrastructure. You will be responsible for acquiring new business, managing client relationships, and selling our comprehensive suite of services, including Managed IT Plans, Hardware Solutions, and Digital Office Integrations.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: actively prospect and generate leads within the dental and healthcare community in the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site and remote consultations to understand the unique workflow of dental clinics. Recommend tailored solutions such as:
- Managed IT Services: Promoting our flat-rate, proactive support plans.
- New Office Installations: Selling end-to-end setup packages including network cabling, server installation, and telephone systems for new clinics.
- Digital Integration: Advising on the integration of intraoral cameras, digital X-ray sensors, and scanners with practice management software.
- Security & Cloud Sales: Educate clients on data protection, selling our DENTALITcloud backup solutions and cybersecurity packages to patient data from ransomware and breaches.
- Account Management: Maintain relationships with existing clients to identify upsell opportunities for hardware upgrades, Audio/Video solutions, and surveillance systems.
- Proposal Generation: Prepare detailed quotes and proposals that align with the client’s budget and technical requirements.
- Experience: 2+ years of B2B sales experience. Experience selling IT services (MSP) or selling directly to dental/medical practices is highly preferred.
- Technical Aptitude: Fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure (Networks, Servers, Cloud Backup, VoIP).
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Dental Practice Management Software (e.g., Dentrix, Abel Dent, Tracker) and digital imaging hardware is a significant asset.
- Communication: Strong presentation and negotiation skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical healthcare professionals.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for client visits across the GTA.
